Ryder to become Head of league’s Advisory Committee as he takes on new professional role.
ROCK HILL, SC - The ACL (American Cornhole League) announced today that its Chief Strategy Officer, Trey Ryder, will be moving into a new role outside the company, and transitioning into a key advisory position for the ACL.

Ryder originally joined the ACL in 2017 as a TV analyst, and soon after took on sponsorship and marketing responsibilities. Ryder built the ACL’s social media team and presence from inception to its current 1M+ following. Additionally, along with ACL Commissioner and CEO Stacey Moore, Ryder brought on a large number of sponsors, business partners, and celebrities to advance the league and the sport.
In 2023, Ryder was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer, where he revamped the league’s Cornhole Operations department and overhauled its membership structure, along with cementing a deal with ESPN for exclusive linear and streaming broadcasts. Most recently, Ryder has collaborated with Moore to re-launch the ACL Pro Teams format, working with its ten new team owners to fine-tune the business framework and competition structure.
Ryder’s day-to-day responsibilities at the ACL will be split between Chief Operating Officer Alicia Mullin and Chief Revenue Officer Ron Freeman.
“Trey has been an integral part of the ACL for almost ten years,” said Commissioner Stacey Moore. “Between his passion for the sport and his strong business acumen, he has been instrumental in growing our league to where we are now, and in setting us up for exponential future growth. We are thrilled to formalize the ACL Advisory Committee, where he can continue his positive influence.”
Ryder will join the ACL’s Advisory Committee, which will consist of several figures from the business and professional sports worlds. He will remain a close consultant to the league and its officers, and will maintain a presence at select ACL events.
