ROCK HILL, SC - The American Cornhole League (ACL) is proud to announce a new and exciting opportunity for brands, individuals, and investment groups to join the rapidly growing world of professional cornhole by becoming ACL Pro Team owners for the 2025–2026 season. A total of sixteen teams will be available for licensing. Each team license will cover a minimum two-year term at a cost of $25,000 per year. Licensed team owners will have full control over their team’s roster and operations, including the ability to select between five and ten ACL Pro players. Rosters can include members from the ACL Pro, ACL Pro Women’s, ACL Pro Junior, and ACL Pro Senior divisions, with a maximum of one under-18 player per team.
Throughout the 2025–2026 season, ACL Pro Teams will compete at six Signature Open Events as well as the ACL World Championships. These events will feature team-based tournament formats, with five players competing per match in singles, doubles, and tandem matchups. Signature title winners secure automatic placement in the “Final 8” bracket at the World Championships. All teams will be eligible to compete for remaining championship bracket spots, and guaranteed payouts will be offered at every event throughout the season.
In addition to competitive opportunities, team owners will enjoy a wide range of business and marketing benefits. Each license includes team branding rights, marketing integration, event participation, and promotional support across ACL’s digital, social, and broadcast platforms. Owners will also have the right to sell sponsorships for their teams and players, and will receive a share of the overall licensing and sponsorship revenue generated by both the league and their individual teams. The ACL will collaborate with licensees to finalize revenue distribution percentages, ensuring transparency and value for all owners.
“This is more than just a team investment; it’s a chance to be part of shaping the future of a sport that’s growing at an unprecedented rate,” said Stacey Moore, Commissioner and Founder of the American Cornhole League. “We’ve built a system where owners can play an active role in competition, marketing, and monetization from day one. We believe this is the next big evolution in professional cornhole, and we’re excited to welcome in the next wave of owners and innovators.”
Team licensing will remain open until all sixteen teams are claimed or until October 31, 2025, whichever comes first. A minimum of six licensed teams is required for this format to launch.
