Membership Price & Information
It is free to create an account at ACL
We have 4 levels of membership - Bronze, Silver,Gold and Platinum. For more information on the different levels please click on the link below.
*Note that players MUST purchase their ACL membership on or before 02/28/2022 in order to receive their 1,000 bonus points. Anyone purchasing ANY membership after 02/28/2022 will not get the 1,000 bonus points. ALL memberships purchased during the 2021-2022 season will expire on 8/31/2022.
How to become an ACL Director
To become a local/free director, you can sign up using the ACL Player App.
Sign into your account, go to my account page, scroll down to Purchase ACL Director Membership Section. You can select free or paid memberships.
*You must have the funds in your ACL Digital Wallet to purchase the paid director membership.
Click the purchase ACL Director Membership red button. You will get a welcome email with links and information about being an ACL DIrector.

Update your Account Information
To update your information on your account you will need to login to the player app - https://app.iplayacl.com. Go to My Account, update the information that is needed, then scroll down and click the red ‘Update Profile’ button
Geo-Code
You will need to login to the player app - https://app.iplayacl.com
Click the slide out menu, then click my account menu option. Verify that your current address is correct, update if needed and click update profile.
Skill Level Change
Once you establish your skill level for the first time, the only people that can change it are ACL State Directors. Please contact your state director to have it changed.

Membership Upgrade
You will need to login to the player app - https://app.iplayacl.com
Click the slide out menu, then click my account menu option. Scroll down to the bottom to the section that say 'Upgrade Player Membership'
How to reset your password
Go to the players app login and click the RESET PASSWORD. - https://app.iplayacl.com
Enter your email address to receive the reset code. Click the Sent Reset Code button
You will receive an email with a passcode.
Fill in your email address, the Reset Code, and your new password.

Two-Factor Authentication
We have taken steps to ensure the security of your ACL account and wallet via implementation of two-factor authentication (2FA).
What is two-factor authentication?
2FA is a security protocol by which a user must prove his/her identity with a verification code in addition to password. The verification code is sent to the user's email and/or phone via text message, so that even if a user's password is compromised, no one can gain access to the user's account without also having access to his/her text messages or email address.
I haven't received my verification code to my email
- Ensure the email you are checking for the verification code is the email you have listed as your official account email address. If you are in the process of changing that address, the verification code will go to the previous address.
- Check your Spam and Trash folders.
- If you still haven't received, request a new verification code from your account page.
I haven't received my verification code to my phone via text message
- Ensure the phone you are checking for the verification code is the phone number you have listed as your official account phone number. If you are in the process of changing that number, the verification code will go to the previous number saved in your account.
- If you still haven't received, request a new verification code from your account page.
Receiving ACL Emails
If you are not receiving emails you have requested from the ACL (password reset codes, account verifications, etc.), please ensure you have added the following to your safe senders list within your email client.
Domains to add:
- Gmail
- Outlook
- Yahoo
- Open Yahoo Mail and log into your account.
- Navigate to “Settings” then click “More Settings.”
- Select “Filters” and hit “Add” to enter the email you’d like to whitelist.
- Name the filter and add the email address.
- Select to send all mail to “Inbox.”
- Save your settings."

- Log in to your AOL account.
- Open “Contacts” from the left navigation pane.
- Click the “New Contact” icon and add the email address.
- Click the “Add Contact” button.
Digital Wallet
View Digital Wallet
You will need to login to the player app - https://app.iplayacl.com
Click the slide out menu, then click my 'Wallet' menu option.
Click the expansion panel that says ‘Wallet Summary’
You will see your transactions.
Adding Money to Digital Wallet
We are transitioning to a new payment processing vendor, Payment Labs, to optimize the user experience around the Digital Wallet. This change will result in increased security and more consistent payout timing. (See “Withdraw Money From Digital Wallet” item below for more details.)
Please create your account via the ACL wallet page to begin.
To deposit money into your digital wallet:
- Sign in to your ACL account and navigate to the Wallet item
- Click the “Deposits” tab
- Click to receive and then enter your security code
- Enter Amount in USD
- Take the steps in the Payment Labs widget to complete your deposit
You will receive a confirmation email once the payment has been processed.
“Invalid Link” Message
If you receive this message, it just means your session has timed out and you’ll have to log in again.

Withdraw Money from Digital Wallet
We are transitioning to a new payment processing vendor, Payment Labs, to optimize the user experience around the Digital Wallet. This change will result in increased security and more consistent payout timing.
Please create your account via the ACL wallet page to begin.
What does this change mean for me?
This transition will affect users in the following ways:
- Improved security and efficiency. Payment Labs and the ACL have worked hard to ensure this transition will reduce issues of fraud, provide increased transparency for users, and make the withdrawal process smoother and faster. Your personal payment information will now be stored securely on the Payment Labs platform. Their terms of service are here.
- Discontinued integration with Paypal. Due to compliance mandates and potential for fraud, we will no longer be supporting payouts to Paypal via the ACL Digital Wallet. Payouts can be done to your bank account (ACH), to your debit card (Visa or MC), or to a digital debit card (think of it like a gift card).
- Real-time account information. This new integration will enable users to get real-time account information.
- Streamlined year-end tax documents. The ACL and Payment Labs will be working to make year-end tax reporting of your winnings easier for the 2025 tax year.
- New timing for your payouts. Payout timing will follow normal banking hours, M-F 9-5 ET.
Does this affect my money that’s currently in my ACL Wallet?
No, the money currently in your ACL Wallet will not be affected.

Transaction timing
For ACH/EFT, processing time is based on your individual banking institution. For prepaid and debit card, payment will be received within one business day.
Future Integration
Down the road, we will be opening up payout options to Apple and Google Pay as well.
What does this mean for European players?
For payouts, you can now directly connect your bank account, so the money will be transferred directly there, no longer through PayPal. Expensive PayPal fees will be avoided and money flows directly into your personal bank account. The only thing you have to do is to set up Payment Labs on your wallet page in the Player App, which you will be prompted to do when you attempt to withdrawal the first time after this transition. Once the connection is made, transfers will be easy.

There are 2 ways you can search for ACL events.
1. You will need to login to the player app - https://app.iplayacl.com. Then click ACL Events button on the landing page and this will use your devices current location or you can enter in some information to search a specific area.

Event Registration
You will need to login to the player app - https://app.iplayacl.com. Then click Events Registrations button on the landing page, and then choose the type of event you would like to register for. Then click the event on the list and fill out the registration form
How to receive a refund for my registration
To receive a refund from an event please contact the director running the event so they can issue you a refund through the digital wallet.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
During live events, ACL sends updates on matches, locations, and timings via Player App push notifications and text messages. As of Wednesday, January 3, 2024, text messaging will no longer be available in the Player App and all updates will be sent via app push notifications. Please ensure your device is enabled per the below. (Directors, please note: Texts are still enabled for Lite.)
To enable push notifications:
- Log in to app.iplayacl.com via your phone’s internet browser.
- Save app.iplayacl.com as an icon to your home screen. (This will create a Progressive Web App or “PWA.” Apple and Android use slightly different methods for this – watch our instructional video for more information if you have trouble.)
- Open the app from your home screen, log in, and then click "Activate Push Notifications" from the app home page.
- Select “Allow Notifications".

Common issues and fixes:
- Issue: I’m getting an error that says “notifications are not supported.”
- Fix: You’ll need to uninstall and reinstall the app. See instructions below.
- Press and hold the ACL app icon from your home screen and select "uninstall."
- Follow the setup instructions above to add the PWA to your home screen.
- Use the new app icon to log in.
- Activate notifications.
- Issue: I have a Samsung phone and these instructions are not working for me.
- Fix: Some native Samsung phone browsers will not allow for this process. What you’ll need to do is install Chrome as your default browser:
- On your Android device, open Settings.
- Tap Apps.
- Under “General,” tap Default apps.
- Tap Browser app Chrome.
- Then proceed with enabling push notifications as delineated above.
- Issue: I don’t have a smartphone and therefore cannot enable push notifications
- Fix: If you don’t have a smartphone, you can view your information by logging in to your account in a browser on any web-enabled device. If you are at an event with no access to the web, please visit the Directors’ table for updates.
Standings
ACL Standing
For your results on previous tournaments you can go to the ACL website under the player detail tab and search for your name.
A list of all of your events for the current season will show up.
Click on any of the events and it will open up a new page with all of the information.
If you scroll down you will see the results.
Below is a direct link to the ACL standings page.
* Player Points will appear in standings for those with a Silver Membership or higher.
